Portraits of Her Collection

This collection celebrates the complexities of femininity. Each portrait uniquely portrays core aspects that define femininity, while together the pieces symbolize that femininity knows no bounds. We can find her in all of us.

In August 2020, Patchwerk hosted an art show and auction to reveal the collection and raise funds for Patchwerk artists in Trinidad and Tobago and Jamaica. We raised 3,000 USD to support our art and story projects in the Caribbean. You can still explore the collection and donate. Click the portraits to learn more about the stories behind the face.

Preserve Amerindian women produce and reproduce family life to preserve the identities of their tribes. The experiences we choose to carry empower us to act.	Remember The human brain starts to remember just 20 weeks after conception, connecting us to a world we don’t yet understand. Memories of the past direct our decisions to foster futures. The stories of ancestors can guide us to fulfilling inherited dreams.
